2-301.14 / WHEN TO WASH
Priority Item Corrected During Inspection A couple of the volunteers did not wash their hands before assuming their work assignment.
Before working with food, clean equipment, utensils, and single use or single service articles food employees shall properly wash their hands.
Action Taken: The person in charge discussed this with the volunteers and they are washing their hands before they begin working in the kitchen.

4-903.11 (A-B), (D) / EQUIPMENT, UTENSILS, LINENS, AND SINGLE-SERVICE AND SINGLE USE ARTICLES
Core Item Corrected During Inspection Serving spoons, ladels, and spatulas were found stored with the food contact end extended outward.
Store equipment and utensils in a clean, dry location a minimum of 6-inches off the floor.
Action Taken: These utensils were rearranged so the food contact end was faced downward into its storage container.
