5-205.11 / USING A HANDWASHING SINK Priority Foundation Item Corrected During Inspection Observed one handwashing sink with vegetable remains from a washcloth being rinsed, and another handwashing sink with warewashing equipment in the basin. Train food employees that handwashing sinks shall not be used for any other purpose than handwashing. Action Taken: PIC removed the warewashing equipment and made other employees aware that the handsinks are only for handwashing purposes. |
6-501.14 / CLEANING VENTILATION SYSTEMS, NUISANCE, AND DISCHARGE PROHIBITION Core Item Observed excessive build-up of grease and contaminates on the exhaust vents above the fryer. This was a routine inspection. PIC was knowledgeable with procedures and all temperatures were within proper parameters. Observed proper handwashing and glove use during the inspection.
