Discard potentially contaminated or unsafe foods.
Action Taken: PIC discarded above noted items.

4-601.11 (B-C) / EQUIPMENT, NONFOOD CONTACT SURFACES, AND UTENSILS
Core Item Observed reach in cooler, WIC, and microwave in kitchen area heavily soiled with food debris. Also observed sides of fryers and reach in coolers in kitchen area heavily soiled with grease and food debris.
Clean and remove dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris from all non-food contact surfaces of equipment. Correct By: 09-Mar-2023
4-703.11 / HOT WATER AND CHEMICAL
Priority Item Corrected During Inspection Observed the sanitization rinse in high-temperature dishmachine was not reading 180 per test strips.
Adjust exposure time to hot water so utensils reach a minimum surface temperature of 160°F.
Action Taken: PIC turned on the water heater on the dish machine so that it reads 180 degrees per test strips.

5-205.11 / USING A HANDWASHING SINK
Priority Foundation Item Corrected During Inspection Observed handsink in bar area being used for a beverage/ice dump sink during inspection and is unavailable for proper handwashing.
Train food employees that handwashing sinks shall not be used for any other purpose than handwashing.
Action Taken: Employee moved strainer from hand sink so that it was available for hand washing.

6-301.11 / HANDWASHING CLEANSER, AVAILABILITY
Priority Foundation Item Corrected During Inspection Observed soap not available at bar handsink.
Provide hand soap at handwashing sink to facilitate proper handwashing.
Action Taken: Employee placed soap at bar handsink.

Provide single-use toweling at handsink to facilitate proper handwashing.
Action Taken: PIC placed paper towel at womens bathroom hand sink.

The purpose of today's visit was to conduct a routine inspection of the facility.

All food was from an approved source.
Proper heating and holding temperatures were observed.
Proper personal hygiene was observed.
Sanitizer was EPA approved and at the correct concentration per manufacturer.

No follow up is needed at this time.
