Todays inspection was an operational routine inspection. During this inspection it was discovered that there has been a remodel of the kitchen. The following items were observed: Installation of a walk in cooler, installation of a walk in freezer, installation of a ventilation hood, installation of two (stacked) Vulcan ovens, installation of a four burner stove, and an installation of an ice machine. The three compartment sink and the hand sink were relocated to the opposite wall. Per Nancy, they are waiting in the approval from the mechanical inspector (City of Flint) before the cooking equipment can be used. Nancy was notified by her Sanitarian that they must also acquire approval from this department. This information has been shared with Jeff Kost, Plan Review Specialist.
Regarding previously cited violations: 4-501.11 has been corrected as required. A new milk cooler has been provided for the facility.
