3717-1-02.3(A) / Food contamination prevention - eating, drinking, or using tobacco.
Observed employee drinking in non-designated area. Observed an open beverage container being used on food serving line. Note: The PIC removed beverage immediately and will discuss with employee where the proper designated area is and closed container policy.
To ensure proper hygiene, an employee shall eat, drink, or use tobacco only in designated areas where the contamination of exposed food; clean equipment, utensils or linens; unwrapped single service or single use articles; or other items needing protection cannot result. Correct By: 07-Jun-2017
3717-1-06.4(A) / Repairing.
The physical facilities are not being maintained in good repair. Observed a leak in the ceiling (coming from soda lines) that contaminated the following areas/items: walls, equipment, counter tops, floors, and paper products. The PIC immediately began to remove all contaminated paper products from area and discarded. The PIC will have the staff clean and sanitize the area before use and make proper repairs to soda lines.
