Comments:
The purpose of today's visit is to conduct a risk assessment inspection.
Notes:
1) The manager has removed the low-profile 1-door refrigerator from use because it is not working at this time. A repair order has been made for the unit along with preventive maintenance servicing of the preparation units at the cookline.
2) The hot water at the kitchen handwashing sinks is at a temperature of 145F, making it very difficult for food employees and wait staff to wash their hands. Recommend that the manager consult a plumbing professional to make adjustments to these sinks to temper the hot water supply to a more comfortable level. A minimum of a temperature of 100F for hot water is required at handsinks.
3) The backflow prevention device on the faucet of the mop/service sink has not been repaired/replaced. Today, there was pressure on the water supply because the sprayer nozzle remained attached to the line and the water was turned on. Please contact a plumbing professional for repair or replacement of this device before it possibly fails.
