Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observations: Sanitizer bucket underneath prep table and sanitizer container by drinks serving area detected at 100ppm QUATs at time of inspection.
Corrective actions: Remake solution to ensure concentration of 200ppm is reached. Adequate concentration of sanitizer ensures food contact surfaces, equipment and utensils are properly sanitized to prevent contamination of food. Staff remade both sanitizer supplies to provide Quats at 200ppm. Increase changes of sanitizer if needed.

Temperatures:
Undercounter coolers in store front area (4) all detected at below 4C
Upright cooler in back of store at 2.6C
Upright freezer at back of store at -16.7C
All cold holding units had accurate thermometers.
All food items stored in cold holding units dated and covered/protected from contamination.
Temperature logs kept digitally, checks done 3 times a day.


Sanitation:
High temperature dish washer able to reach 78.6C at plate surface level at final rinse (requirement 71C)
2 compartment sink available for ware washing, drain plugs available.
Overall premise in sanitary condition. Equipment and utensils kept in sanitary conditions.
Handwashing sink equipped with liquid soap, single use paper towels and hot and cold running water. Sink was accessible and unobstructed.
Ice well and ice machine observed in sanitary condition. No build up observed. Scoops had designated storage areas.
Dry storage area in sanitary condition. All items stored off the floor and in original packages.
Single use items (i.e. cups and lids), shelf stack food items and chemicals all had designated storage area at back of store. All chemicals stored separate form food items.
Washroom in sanitary condition. Sink equipped with liquid soap, single use paper towels and hot and cold running water.
No sign of pest at time of inspection. Pest control service done monthly (most recent service 2024/05/21. No activities detected)
Staff observed to be doing proper hand washing at time of inspection.

Administrative:
Permit posted in a conspicuous location.
Food Safety Training available for staff on site. Expiry date 2028/08/11
Pearls for new menu item held at room temperature for 5 days before they're discard. Usually finish before 5 days.
