Introduction
An scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSOP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation: Cleaning and sanitizing practices were reviewed and observed during the inspection. The same utility clothes are used several times during the day to clean the classroom tables. LO reviewed the guidance for single use clothes to be used for cleaning and disinfecting with the staff and manager.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure a healthy environment is provided at all times.

Comments
On the inspection date of February 8, 2021 there were 26 children and 13 staff present. At this inspection the above noted contravention was identified. Actions required by the licensee include a corrective action plan developed and submitted and actions required the LO include to review and monitor corrective action plan. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. This inspection report and risk assessment was completed off site and emailed to the facility the following day.
