Comments

- Premises offers hair, nail, waxing, threading, facial services.
- General sanitation satisfactory
- Water provided to clients in single use disposable cups
- Towels laundered on site with high heat settings (wash and dry). Bleach used for white towels.
- All hand wash stations in treatment areas had soap, single use hand towels (used once then laundered), hot and cold running water
- Combs submerged in barbicide
- Wahl spray on disinfectant available for clippers
- PreEmpt CS20 used to disinfect metal nail instruments
- No evidence of reuse for single use disposable items (nail files, buffers...etc)
- Bleach used to disinfect foot bath
- Lysol wipes or Accel TB wipes used for general surface disinfection
- No evidence of double dipping noted in wax. Several disposable spatulas available.
- Rollers noted on site labelled with client names. Operator said that she uses rollers for repeat clients with larger body parts. No concerns at time of inspection. Should future inspections identify issues, wax rollers will not be permitted.
- Operator confirmed ingrown hairs are not removed. No evidence of tweezers or single use lancets on site. Stray hairs removed by threading.
