Inspection Information
Facility Name: Colonial Snack Bar
[?] Facility Type: Bar with small food menu
[?] Inspection type: Routine Inspection
[?] Inspection date: 27-January-2014
[?] Violations: A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
4-302.14 / SANITIZING SOLUTIONS, TESTING DEVICES
Priority Foundation Item Repeat A test kit for chrloine is not available at the snack bar..
Provide a test kit - litmust paper - to set up & monitor concentration of sanitizing solutions. Correct By: 03-Feb-2014
5-205.15 (B) / SYSTEM MAINTAINED IN GOOD REPAIR (REPAIRED)
Core Item The drain lines for the BAR ice maker have fallen down into the floor drain, to an air break. An air gap, the highest form of protection, is required.
Raise up these lines so that they are completely up out of the drain, so that the waste water literally flows thru' the air before it reaches the floor drain. This is so that if the drain back up, it will not touch the lines & potentially contaminate the food/ice. Correct By: 27-Apr-2014
6-501.11 / PHYSICAL FACILITIES - GOOD REPAIR
Core Item Repeat 1)The storeroom ceiling is not smooth & easily cleanable, & some panels are damaged. 2)Banquet room ceiling is water damaged & molded in its bar area
Maintain the physical facilities so they are in good repair at all times. Provide panels that are smooth, easily cleanable, to code. Correct By: 27-Apr-2014
