Priority Item Corrected During Inspection Observed a roll of raw ground beef (10 Ibs) and a container of raw beef (5 Ibs) stored directly above a bag of carrots (20 Ibs) on a shelving unit in the WIC.
Relocate raw food items on the bottom shelf.
Action Taken: PIC relocated noted items to the bottom shelf below RTE food items.

4-101.11 (A) / CHARACTERISTICS - FOOD CONTACT SURFACES EQUIPMENT AND UTENSILS
Priority Item Corrected During Inspection Observed bread made in house on trays that were covered by black garbage bags located in the storage room.
Discard black garbage bags and bread. PIC shall us food grad covering such as saran wrap to cover food items.
Action Taken: PIC removed garbage bags and discarded bread.

5-205.11 / USING A HANDWASHING SINK
Priority Foundation Item Corrected During Inspection Handsink being used for storing tongs during inspection and is unavailable for proper handwashing.
Train food employees that handwashing sinks shall not be used for any other purpose than handwashing.
Action Taken: Noted item was removed.
