A DIRECT CONNECTION EXISTS BETWEEN THE SEWAGE SYSTEM & A DRAIN FROM THE WATER SOFTENER DISCHARGE LINE.
THE WATER SOFTENER DISCHARGE LINE MUST BE AIR GAPPED BY AT LEAST 1". THIS LINE IS CUT OFF IN-LINE BUT IS AIR GAPPED, AT MOST, 1/8". CREATE AN AIR GAP OF AT LEAST 1", AS REQUIRED BY LAW, TO PROTECT YOUR WATER SYSTEM. Correct By: 10-Aug-2017 Action Taken: THE WATER SOFTENER DISCHARGE LINE HAS BEEN AIR GAPPED BY AT LEAST 1".
