3701-31-04 (B)(4)(c) / SVRS/APSOS/ACC test results/ service records are maintained
Observed that the logs did not indicate when the ACC was tested each month.
In order to reduce the risk of health and safety hazards, ensure that the ACC is functionally tested monthly and marked on the log. If the device has not been recently serviced, have the device tested immediately and provide documentation of the test results.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii) / A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line provided
Observed that the a USCG Type IV personal flotation device had a tope that was 23" long.
In order to reduce the risk of potential safety hazards, provide a proper floatation device at all times with a throw rope that has a rope that is 30-60ft. Discussed with PIC.
