Repeat Observed the pH to be 8.0. pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii) / A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line provided
A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool.
Provide a proper floatation device at all times so that it is readily visible and easily accessible in the pool area.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(iii) / A back/spine board is provided
Observed the back/spine board to be stored in the main building.
Provide the back/spine board at the pool in an area that is readily visible and easily accessible to the pool area.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e) / Working emergency telephone/call box provided.
Observed there to be no emergency telephone readily available and easily accessible to the pool area.
Ensure that there is an emergency phone readily visible and/or easily accessible to the pool area. A working telephone or an emergency call box shall be available for emergency use during all parts of the year a public swimming pool is in use. The emergency device shall be at a public swimming pool or within five hundred feet of the swimming pool. The emergency device shall remain continuously connected to a power source, as appropriate, and operational at all times. A sign shall be provided in accordance with paragraph (E)(3)(c) of this rule, which states when the emergency device, as required in paragraph (E)(2)(e) of this rule is not visible in the public swimming pool area, the licensee shall post a sign stating the location of the nearest emergency device. The sign indicating the location of the emergency device shall have on it the name and telephone number of the nearest available police station, fire station, and rescue unit and any other names and telephone numbers likely to be needed in the event of an emergency.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(d) / "WARNING or DANGER - POOL CLOSED" sign(s) posted-when the pool is closed
The pool was closed but the "WARNING or DANGER - POOL CLOSED" sign(s) were not posted.
Post the "WARNING or DANGER - POOL CLOSED" sign at all times the pool is not available for use.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2) / Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Critical Observed there to be no free chlorine disinfectant residual in the pool. Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above.
