3701-31-04 (B)(3) / Staff is trained and knowledgeable
Observed staff that was not properly trained or knowledgeable.
Staff was not trained or knowledgeable in pool operations. Train staff in pool operations, operation of equipment, chemical storage, use and handling and appropriate emergency procedures.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
Observed the pH at 7.0.
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.

3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c)/Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Observed no chlorine in the pool.
Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool. Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2)/Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Observed no free chlorine in the pool.
Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm. Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above.
Comments
Discussed with PIC that the pool in the current state should be operating with the ACC and the salt generator that are in the pump room. This was the last approved alteration to the pool by ODH. Discussed with them the options that they have. 1. They can return to using the ACC and the salt generator, meaning that the pool would only have to be monitored every 12 hours. 2. Apply for an alteration through ODH to use the chemical feeder. At the next standard inspection, we will discuss this and see what they have chosen to do.
