Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Follow-up

Inspection Date: 17-July-2023

The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(g)/Water clarity shall be sufficient to see the pool bottom (or Secchi disc).
Observed the water in the pool to be so cloudy that it was difficult to see clearly to the bottom. In order to reduce the risk of being unable to see a person in distress in the pool, it is necessary to always keep the pool water clear. Close the pool and take steps to correct the cloudy water. Discussed with the PIC's, who indicated that they intend to use the chemicals that have been purchased and applied to try to clear the pool water over the weekend. If they don't work, they intends to drain the pool and start over with fresh water next week.
Comments
The pool is still closed and was being drained during the inspection.

The pool operator intends to fix a small area where the interior pool finish is damaged, repaint that area (using the same approved color as the rest of the pool), refill the pool, and treat the water.

The pool operator will call the CCCHD when the work is finished to arrange an inspection.
