In order to reduce the risk of health hazards, ensure that the spa water temperature is at or below 104 degrees F. PIC began working on lowering the temperature during the inspection.

Received a complaint that the hot tub is too hot, and is intentionally kept too hot. Observed the temperature to be at 105.7 degrees F. It is required that spa temperatures be at or below 104 degrees F. Owner made adjustments in order for the temperature to go down. Spoke with the owner, who indicated that he does not intentionally keep the spa above 104 degrees F. He stated that many of his clients do like the spa to be as hot as possible. Thus, he tries to keep the spa at 104 degrees F, but it fluctuates around this temperature.
