Repeat Corrected During Inspection Emergency device (telephone) was not provided. Observed no working telephone in the emergency telephone box while the pool was open. Discussed with the office personnel, who indicated that they had taken the cell phone out of the emergency telephone box earlier in the day to charge it in the office and had not yet returned it to the emergency telephone box. The telephone was shown to be charged during the inspection and was placed into the emergency telephone box during the inspection.
In order to ensure a prompt response by emergency personnel in the event of an emergency, it is necessary that a working telephone always be available in the emergency telephone box whenever the pool is open. Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and is kept in the emergency telephone box whenever the pool is open.
