[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(1)(g) / Water clarity shall be sufficient to see the pool bottom (or Secchi disc).
Critical Observed the water in the pool to be so cloudy that it was difficult to see clearly to the bottom. In order to reduce the risk of being unable to see a person in distress in the pool, it is necessary to always keep the pool water clear. Close the pool and take steps to correct the cloudy water. Discussed with the PIC's, who closed the pool and started to take steps to correct the cloudy water during the inspection.

3701-31-04 (B)(4) / The licensee /authorized representative is keeping records
Observed that the weekly logs for the pool had some blanks where no testing had been done on some days. Also, the dates assigned to the days on some pages were incorrect. It is necessary for chemical testing to occur regularly and for weekly logs to be kept accurately. Always keep logs accurately. Discussed with the PIC's and made some corrections to the logs.

3701-31-04 (B)(6) / Equipment is maintained per manufacturers specifications.
Observed the flowmeter bobber to be dirty and to appear to be stuck at 22. In order to ensure adequate turnover of the pool water, it is necessary that an accurate reading be provided by a working flowmeter. Repair or replace the flowmeter.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(o) / Ladders/stairs/steps are in good repair/slip resistent
Repeat Observed that the handrail for one of the ladders at the end of the pool near the backboard was very loose and had a damaged top step. In order to reduce the risk of accidents and injury, it is necessary that ladders be maintained in good repair. Repair or replace this ladder. Discussed with the PIC's who removed the ladder temporarily until it could be repaired.

3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e) / Working emergency telephone/call box provided.
Repeat No working emergency telephone was available for use. The emergency telephone was scheduled to be repaired/replaced by Spectrum and a working walkie-talkie that connected to the front desk had been provided as a temporary emergency contact. In order to ensure rapid emergency services, it is necessary that a working emergency telephone/call box be provided for the pool. Provide a working telephone for the pool.

3701-31-04 (E)(3)(c) / Location of emergency telephone posted when the phone is not visible.
The temporary walkie-talkie provided for emergency use until the telephone can be repaired/replaced was not easy to use. The buttons were not labeled and it was not clear how to use the walkie-talkie. In order to ensure rapid emergency response until the emergency telephone can be repaired/replaced, it is necessary that the temporary walkie-talkie be accompanied by a sign that very clearly describes how the walkie-talkie is meant to be used. Provide a sign for this device.

Comments
Observed the pool water to be cloudy. The pool sand filter had been back-flushed earlier in the morning and the pool had been vacuumed, but the pool was still cloudy. Discussed with the PIC's, who indicated that they would close the pool until they consulted with their pool chemical supplier and chose a treatment that would correct the cloudiness. The PIC's indicated that they would also shock the pool and correct the pH prior to reopening.

NOTE = a replacement pump had been provided for the pool. The make, model, and horsepower were the same as the previous pump.

The ORP determined using the Calibration Calculator (using the chlorine and pH levels measured at deck side) is different from the ORP displayed on the automatic chemical controller. Please calibrate the chemical controller.
