Comments
Once plastic ladder/steps are installed for the summer use, the pool can open for use. The Free Chlorine is high at 12.5 ppm but not a violation or prevent the pool from opening for use. Consider decreasing the chlorine concentration to avoid potential skin irritations and bleaching of swimwear of patrons. Monitor the pool's chlorine feeder. Min Cl2 level require is 1.0 ppm. Consult with pool chemical supplier about using a chlorine stabilizer to maintain free chlorine longer in the outdoor pool. If you decide to use the stabilizer, test at least once a week for Cyanuric Acid in the pool water and not to exceed 70 ppm.
