Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Follow-up

Inspection Date: 22-June-2021

The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)/Equipment is maintained per manufacturers specifications.
Equipment was not maintained per manufacturers specifications. Observed a leak under the chemical feeder that appeared to come from a leaking valve. In order to ensure the proper disinfectant residual, it is necessary that the chemical feeder be intact and in good working condition. Check and repair the feeder.
All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2)/Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm. The chlorine disinfectant residual was measured at 0 ppm. In order to reduce the risk of pathogen growth in the pool water and the risk of disease, it is necessary that the disinfectant residual be maintained at or above 1ppm. Discussed with the PIC, who indicated that he thought the valve on the chemical feeder was broken and that a repairman was scheduled to come to the facility this evening to check the system and try to restore the proper chlorine residual. Always maintain the proper disinfectant residual. The pool was closed during the inspection.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above.
Comments
Chemical feeder repaired.
Sanitizer residual above 1ppm. Pool reopened.
