3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i) / Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Observed Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools. (no records for current day, bathers were already in pool)
In order to reduce the risk of health hazards, test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Observed that Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use.
In order to reduce the risk of heath hazards, test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iv) / Water temperatures are recorded daily
Observed that water temperatures were not being recorded daily.
In order to reduce the risk of health hazards, ensure to take and record the water temperature at least once a day.
3701-31-04 (D)(09) / Chemicals shall not be manually added to pool when bathers present.
Observed that chemicals were manually added to the pool when bathers were present.
In order to reduce the risk of health hazards, ensure chemicals are not added manually when bathers are in pool. Stop adding chemicals to the pool when bathers are present.
