Required turnover rates were not met.Observed the flow meter to give a reading of 550 gpm. The minimum required flow rate is 583 gpm.
Have the circulation system evaluated to determine why the turnover rates are not able to be met. Once the reasons have been determined have the issue repaired. If necessary, submit plans to the Ohio Department of Health to review and approve. PIC indicated that the flow meter may not be working well. Also indicated that a new one has been ordered. If the flow meter is not the problem, then have the circulation system evaluated.
