[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(1)(d) / Circulation/Disinfection system shall operate properly.
Critical Observed the pool's water flow at 105 gph which is less than the minimum water flow of 125 gpm. The pool's water flow through the filters and the salt generators needs to be maintained at a minimum of 125 gpm to achieve a complete turnover of the pool's water within every 8hrs (480 mins) and help with effectively filter the water. This low water flow may also be contributing to the cloudiness of the pool water. Increase the flow rate to be at least 125 gpm.

3701-31-04 (B)(1)(g) / Water clarity shall be sufficient to see the pool bottom (or Secchi disc).
Critical The pool water is cloudy and the main drains in the deep end of the pool can not be clearly observed. Need to keep the pool closed until the water clarity is clear enough to see the main drains and the bottom of the pool.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(p) / Deck surfaces are free of standing water or other hazards.
Repeat Observed several sections of the pool deck is uneven and posing a tripping hazard to swimmers. Several sections of the concrete slabs are either upheaved or appear lower than adjacent sections. Also the loose pavers in the deck on the east side are lower than the surrounding concrete deck on the southeast side posing a tripping hazard. Repair these areas to eliminate the potential tripping hazards. Discussion with the operator also occurred that the Polo Club should investigate for a possible leak from the pool or the plumbing or that ground water /spring is affecting the deck's foundation especially with seeing the standing water outside the pool's fence outside the southeast corner of the pool.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(p) / Deck surfaces are free of standing water or other hazards.
Repeat Observed sections of the decking is cracked. On the southeast corner of the pool, two large gaps are forming between the concrete slabs. Several sections of the concrete on the east and south side are either upheaved or sunk. The Polo Club needs to repair the deck to repair the gaps to stop rain, pool water or moisture from entering and damaging the unlaying ground and foundation of the deck through the cracks and gaps from freezing damage and potential erosion under the concrete slabs.

Comments
Pool needs to be closed and not in use while the water clarity is cloudy and limited in visibility to clearly see the bottom of the pool.. Need to clearly see the main drain covers in the deep end before allowing the pool to be used. Pool was being filled during the inspection. When the pool water is clear again and the water chemistry is at the right levels the pool can be open again for use. Observed the wall and pool floor surfaces when touch coats hands and feet that may be contributing to the cloudiness of the water.
During the inspection, observed a large wet spot outside the pool's fencing on the southeast side of the pool is from a leak in the pool or the pool's plumbing and contributing to the water loss of the pool the operator has to replenshed daily and the damage to the deck on this side of the pool (gaps between the concrete sections, upheaving and sinking sections observed). If this water is not coming from the pool or the pool's plumbing but is from a groundwater source should be checked and investigate is not contributing to the pool's damaged concrete deck.'s water and potential affect the stablity of the ground under the pool.
*Remember all paints used must be on the Ohio Department of Health's (ODH) approval list of paints and colors to be used in swimming pools. If any changes to the pool deck or the pool, the Polo Club Board needs to contact ODH to determine if plans will need to be submitted for approval before the repairs are made. The type and extent of the repairs and changes will determine if plans will need to be to be submitted to ODH. Contact ODH at 614-644-7438.
