3701-31-04 (B)(6) / Equipment is maintained per manufacturers specifications.
Equipment was not maintained per manufacturers specifications. The valve for the #1 sand filter had a leak.
All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. Repair of replace this valve to remove the leak. It was indicated that the valve was scheduled for repair or replacement.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(h) / Required meters and gauges maintained/functional
Required meters and gauges were not maintained or were not functional while the pool is in operation. The flowmeter had a leak on the top.
Maintain all meters and gauges in a properly functioning manner at all times while the pool is in operation. Repair or replace this meter so it doesn't leak. It was indicated during the inspection that the meter was scheduled for repair.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. The pH was measured at 7.0 or less.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range. The operator indicated that he would add "pH-up" as soon as possible. Discussed how to add chemical to achieve he best treatment.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e) / Working emergency telephone/call box provided.
Emergency device (telephone) was not working. A working telephone was not on-site during the inspection.
Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities. The persons-in-charge indicated that an emergency telephone would be provided within the next few days and would be on-site and operable on opening day.
