Repeat Observed a spa water temperature of 109 degrees F.
In order to reduce the risk of hazards, spa water temperature should be at or below 104 degrees F. Spa was closed due to the risk of hazards. Monitor the temperature and ensure that it gets to or below 104 degrees F.

3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(1)/Combined chlorine shall not exceed 1.0 ppm.
Combined chlorine was greater than 1.0 ppm. Observed a combined chlorine of 2.4 ppm
Treat the pool so that the combined chlorine is less than 1 ppm.
3701-31-04 (C)(2)/pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. Observed a pH of 8.0.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
Comments
Spoke with PIC. There is speculation that a member entered the pool equipment room and turned the spa up all the way. The operator indicates that she did not turn the spa water up. The spa water was turned down all the way during the inspection. Water temperature was dropping slowly. Spa was closed during the inspection.
Recommend providing a lock for the door to the equipment room to ensure that no unauthorized personnel enter the equipment room.
