3701-31-04 (B)(1) / Public swimming pool operates free of an imminent health hazard
Critical Corrected During Inspection Observed spa operating at 105.1 degrees F.
Do not operate the pool when an imminent health hazard is present. Spa temperature over 105 degrees F is an imminent health hazard. PIC added water to the spa, bringing it down to 103 degrees F.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f) / Required turnover rates are sufficient
Observed turnover rate to only be ~35 gpm, due to the filter only being able to hand 40 gpm.
The required circulation rate for this spa is 105 gpm. Please have the circulation system assessed to see if other factors are leading to the insufficient flow. In the meantime, please record the water chemistry every 2 hours, including chlorine, free chlorine, combined chlorine, and pH, and maintain these records. These records must be maintained for review during future inspections.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
Observed pH to be more than 8.0.
pH must be within the range of 7.2 to 7.8. Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (C)(7) / Spa water temperature is less than 104 degrees Fahrenheit/ thermometer is provided
Corrected During Inspection Spa temperature was observed to be 105.1 degrees F.
Spa temeprautre must be 104 degrees F or less. PIC lowered the temeprautre of the spa.
