Observed that Cl was not tested daily at the required intervals.
Disinfection residuals shall be tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(a)(ii) / The interior surfaces white or of an approved color
Observed the pool paint is no longer in good repair.
In order to reduce the risk of endangering bathers, ensure that the pool is repainted with an approved color by the Director of Health. Ensure that the lane lines and diving marks are repainted so that they can be visibly seen by bathers. Correct By: 31-Jul-2019
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f) / Required turnover rates are sufficient
Observed the rate of flow at 500 GPM.
The required turnover rates were not met (turnover rate minimum is 625 GPM). Have the circulation system evaluated to determine why the turnover rates are not able to be met. Once the reasons have been determined have the issue repaired. If necessary, submit plans to the Ohio Department of Health to review and approve.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(q) / Depth markers/deck warning signs are maintained
Observed that the "no diving" deck markers were not clearly legible or visible is some spots.
Deck warning signs were not maintained in a clearly legible/visible manner. Replace/repair the deck warning signs so that bathers are able to clearly see that no diving is permitted where clearly indicated.
