3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Repeat Observed that the combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool.
In order to reduce the risk of health hazards, ensure that the pool is tested for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 12 hours while the pool is in use. Ensure that the lifeguards are testing for the combined chlorine as well as the free chlorine.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(p) / Deck surfaces are free of standing water or other hazards.
Repeat Observed "tiger up" tiles held down with shipping tape by the bleachers, by the tiger on the deck and towards the south end of the pool near the dive blocks.
In order to reduce the risk of safety hazards, repair/replace these tiles on the deck.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(c) / Location of emergency telephone posted when the phone is not visible.
Repeat Observed no sign indicating how to operate the emergency phone.
In order to reduce the risk of health and safety hazards, ensure that a sign informing patrons of how to use the emergency device. Provide the instructions for how to dial out call fire/police or operate etc. Recommend posting the address of the facility on the sign.

Please ensure that the combined chlorine is being tested pool side before the pool is open to bathers. Instruct lifeguards to test the FC, CC and pH before the pool is opened and tell them to record it on the logs. Suggest to the lifeguards that they have a reference handout card that the CCCHD provided for them, so they can use that if they don't understand. Over the winter break, Witt will be hosting high school swim meets. Ensure that the pool is being tested before any meets and before any open swim hours (if applicable).
