Comments
Received a complaint stating " The food items in the freezer/cooler area are Time/Temperature Abused. We have purchased lunch meat that, though well before the proper usage date, has turned rotten. We have refused to purchase frozen food due to the fact that the freezers were not functioning properly and the food had thawed. There is produce allowed to remain on the shelf until rotten. We have spoken to management, and they have done nothing. My wife and I believe that a thorough inspection is necessary, since there are obvious food handling violations at this facility".

In today's inspection sanitarian discussed and observed with management all freezers cold holding temperatures are 2°- 14°F.

Note: informed the several freezers near 14°F are already scheduled for replacement this coming week with stand-up reach-in freezers which should have all at near zero degrees fahrenheit.

In addition, all produce are observed to be in compliance condition today as management informs the produce is checked at least twice daily to p ll-out any observed spoiled produce. Management also informs it would be very appreciative if they miss one item if it could be brought to their attention so they can immediately pull it in an effort to ensure complete customer Food Safety.
