THERE WAS A COMPLAINT MADE ON THIS FACILITY. IT WAS RECEIVED ON 03-14-2017. THE NATURE: BARE HAND CONTACT WITH READY TO EAT FOODS (FOOD EMPLOYEE PLACING COLE SLAW ON SANDWICHES). FINDINGS: I OBSERVED STAFF MEMBERS HANDLING READY TO EAT FOODS WITH SPOONS AND/OR TONGS. EACH TRAY CARRYING A DIFFERENT FOOD ITEM HAS A SPOON AND/OR TONGS AVAILABLE. THERE IS AN ADEQUATE SUPPLY OF DELI PAPER AND PLASTIC GLOVES AVAILABLE. I SPOKE WITH RICHARD KOLAR (THE OPERATION'S OWNER) AND EXPLAINED THAT EMPLOYEES MUST USE DELI OR WAX PAPER, GLOVES, SPOONS AND/OR TONGS WHEN HANDLING READY TO EAT FOODS. EMPLOYEES ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER HANDLING A RAW FOOD ITEM AND BEFORE HANDLING READY TO EAT FOODS. ACTIONS: NO HEALTH CODE VIOLATION. |
