3717-1-05.1(O)(2) / Using a handwashing sink - other uses prohibited.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Handwashing sink is being used for purposes other than handwashing. OBSERVED TWO BUCKETS PLACED INSIDE OF THE HANDWASHING SINK.
To prevent contamination, a handwashing sink may not be used for purposes other than handwashing. THE ITEMS WERE REMOVED AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. Correct By: 24-Jul-2017

3717-1-02.4(A)(2) / Person in charge: assignment of responsibility.
Facility did not have one employee with supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service with level two certification in food protection.
At least one employee that has supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service shall obtain the level two certification in food protection according to rule 3701-21-25 of the Administrative Code. TAKE THE SERV-SAFE LEVEL TWO FOOD SAFETY TRAINING COURSE. OBTAIN AND POST THE CERTIFICATION UPON COURSE COMPLETION.
3717-1-04.1(Y) / Temperature measuring devices.
Cold or hot holding equipment did not contain a thermometer, or the thermometer was not correctly placed. OBSERVED THAT THE DISPLAY NOR SERVING COOLERS DID NOT HAVE A THERMOMETER INSIDE. THE WALK IN COOLER'S THERMOMETER WAS NOT WORKING AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION.
A properly designed temperature measuring device as specified in this rule shall be located in the warmest part of a cooling unit or the coolest part of a food warming unit. PROVIDE A WORKING HOLDING THERMOMETER FOR ALL COOLING UNITS INSIDE OF THE FACILITY TO PROVIDE EITHER OF THE UNIT'S AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AT ALL TIMES.
3717-1-04.4(A)(1) / Equipment - good repair and proper adjustment.
Equipment and/or components are not maintained in good working order. OBSERVED THAT THE TWO DOOR DISPLAY COOLER HAS AN AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF 48 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT.
Equipment shall be maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the requirements specified under rules 3717-1-04 and 3717-1-04.1 of this code. MAKE NECESSARY REPAIRS/ADJUSTMENTS TO THE DISPLAY COOLER SO IT WILL OPERATE AT AN AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AT OR BELOW 41 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT AT ALL TIMES. DISCONTINUE PLACING ANY/ALL TIME AND TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED FOR SAFETY FOODS TO PREVENT POSSIBLE FOOD SPOILAGE. HAVE THIS UNIT'S TEMPERATURE VERIFIED AND APPROVAL MADE BY A CLEVELAND DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SANITARIAN BEFORE RESUMING OPERATION OF THIS UNIT.
