Comments
Received a complaint stating a customer purchasing chicken pad se yew at A Thai restaurant on 5/16/2023 was interviewed for a Salmonella case. The case mentioned that she consumed food from outside the home during the 5/19/23- 5/22-23 exposure period.

In today's inspection sanitarian observed set-up with the hand washing sink water above 100°F, hand soap was brought over from the nearby customer restoom, and available disposable towels with a posted handwashing sign. Sanitarian, management, and food handler employees discussed the importance of the hand soap being available at all times at both the food preparation and customer restroom hand washing sink. Management informs all raw food and ready-to-eat food are completely separated at all times. Sanitarian observed all stored chicken are within the expiration date and are confirmed to be fully cooked to approximately 175°F. Food handler employees are always applying single-use gloves and cooking utensils with no bare hand contact with the food. All refrigerated temperatures are monitored daily at the beginning of the shift and were well below 41°F on and near May 17th.

In addition, dating back to the week of 5-10-23 there was no appearing or reportable illness for all of their employees.
