[?] Inspection Type: Complaint

Inspection Date: 30-December-2021

Comments
Received a complaint stating: complainant, who wishes to stay anonymous to the owner, called in stating that her friend has been extremely ill after eating at the establishment. Lower GI distress and is going to the doctors as it continues to be an issue.

It is also important to note that there is excessive trash outside the facility in the back, overflowing. Bathrooms are unclean and have plumbing issues. The grout is black, floor is sticky, and there is dried feces on surfaces. Smelling of sewage.

In general, the facility is unkept and unsanitary. They do not vacuum ( do not have a vacuum) and they sweep the floors with a straw broom while people are eating.

During Covid-19 times, they are not sanitizing and wiping tables.

Please check on the water temperature as it is extremely hot and the community has elderly that eat there ( as not to scald the customers).

Sanitarian observed no smelling of sewage nor excessive trash outside the facility in the back at time of inspection. The observed trash is contained in a outdoor rolling cart and only stored above containment with recyclable material which is cardboard.

Note sanitarian informed by management a replacement vacuum has already been ordered with an arrival date expected this coming weekend. The hot water temperature is controlled by mixing with cold water at the hand sinks. Management will communicate with all staff be more attentive in the sanitizing and wiping tables as this will be monitored closely to ensure the quality in Public Food Safety for both the customers and staff employees.
