Received a complaint stating: "Upstairs occupants complaining about "smell" of cleaning product coming from restaurant downstairs". Sanitarian In discussion and observation with the person-in-charge food handler employee is informed the hood located above the cooking equipment recently began malfunctioning and the smell is the times a pepper menu item is prepared and cooked.
Note: in discussion of maintenance is already scheduled for this hood repair sanitarian informs staff the actual common re-inspect date is ten days from today's complaint inspection 2-25-2022
