Critical Repeat Person in charge did not ensure their employees are properly trained in food safety. Observed multiple critical violations (flies and date marking) at time of inspection indicating a lack of proper food safety knowledge. Education was provided at time of inspection to improve food safety.

Critical Repeat Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, TCS foods not properly date marked (turkey, ham, tomatoes). Education was provided to improve date marking procedures.

Critical Presence of live insects (flies) in the kitchen. Education was provided about proper pest control.

Repeat No towels or drying device at the rear handwashing sink.

Outer opening not protected. Front door was left open for the entire inspection allowing for pest intrusion.

Repeat Employee foods were intermingled with FSO foods in the cold holding unit at time of inspection allowing for potential contamination.

Repeat Multiple light bulbs not working in kitchen.

Floors are not clean in hard to reach areas.

A re-inspection will take place 9/5/23 to confirm that violations have been corrected.

Food was observed in the reach-in cold holding unit that the PIC states was cooked at home and is an employee lunch. Employee lunches shall be stored separate to avoid potential contamination. Food is not permitted to be cooked at home as a menu item.
