3717-1-02.2(G) / Jewelry - prohibition.
Food employees (student workers) wearing jewelry on arms or hands during food preparation.

3717-1-04.8(E)(3) / Single-service articles and single-use articles - storage.
Single-service and single-use articles not protected from contamination. Observed cups at service counters removed from original packaging or not in an approved container that protects the mouth/lip contact surface.

3717-1-04.4(A)(2) / Equipment components kept intact, tight, and adjusted
Equipment components are not intact, tight or properly adjusted. Observed drawer refrigeration units under the cook line in disrepair. PIC stated they will put a sign stating do not use/out of service.

3717-1-05.4(F)(1) / Outside receptacles - tight fitting lids
Outdoor refuse containers (shared with the building (dorms)) without tight fitting lids, doors, or covers. Observed trash/recyclables overflowing in the receptacle without lids.

Observed facility to appear well maintained and organized.
PIC demonstrated excellent knowledge in regards to food safety in the facility.
The violations documented shall be corrected and will be checked during next inspection.
Food Process Reviewed: TILT procedure on TCS products stored on ice next to grill (currently not in use).
