Critical Observed multiple flying insects throughout the FSO at the time of inspection.
To prevent illness, the presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled by: Routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food and supplies; routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests; Using methods, if pests are found, such as trapping devices or pesticides used according section (C), (K) and (L) of rule 3717-1-07.1 of this code; and eliminating harborage conditions.

Complaint on 28-Aug-2018 : Inspection was conducted in regards to a complaint. Per complainant: Concerned about food safety and health of employees. Employees are killing cockroaches, there is mold in the building, and lots of flies. Complaint findings: Observed multiple flying insects throughout the facility at the time of inspection. Observed no evidence of cockroaches or no mold-like substance throughout the building at the time of inspection. Per discussion with PIC, facility has regular pest maintenance preformed by a professional pest control company. Employees have not seen any signs of cockroaches or insects other than flies. A follow-up inspection will be conducted in a week to check on the flying insects. |
