Improper storage of food items. Observed box of cones stored on the floor in the dry storage room.

Nonfood-contact surfaces not easily cleanable. Observed damaged walls and ceiling throughout the building. Observed rust accumulating on the metal supports that hold the ceiling tiles.

Floors near the three-compartment sink/water heater area and the under the equipment at the prep area not maintained clean.

Comments
Discussed COVID-19 protocols (face coverings, social distancing, cleaning and sanitizing, sick policy, etc.) during the inspection with the person-in-charge.

Ensure shelving units that are not easily movable have the bottom shelf installed at least 4 inches up off the floor for cleaning.
Personal items shall be placed in designated areas or shelves away from the operation's items.
Observed water leaking into a bucket from the building's backflow prevention device near the water heater.

The violations documented shall be corrected and will be checked at the next standard inspection.
