Complaint on 13-Jun-2022 :
Inspection was conducted in regards to a complaint.

Per complainant: I noticed that China City had a collection of baby ducks right outside the back of the restaurant. The ducklings are dirty and forced to remain there even at high temperatures. If these birds are being used for slaughtering purposes, then I feel as though it is extremely unsanitary and an issue for the entire plaza. They have had a roach infestation on more than one occasion and I just worry about the sanitation of the restaurant as well as the safety and health of the customers.

Complaint findings: Observed baby geese (around 15) behind the behind the building by the back door of the FSO (food service operation). Spoke with PIC (person in charge) and they began packaging up the geese and took them home. The PIC stated this is the first year they have tried raising geese and are doing it for the eggs. The eggs are for home use only and are not sold in the RFE (retail food establishment) or used in the FSO.

The complaint is now considered closed.
