Complaint on 10-Sep-2021 :
An investigation was conducted in regards to a complaint.

Per complainant: Meat was left out when they entered the dining facility and when they left; the meat was sitting out for the 45 minutes while they were there. The meat sat untouched throughout that time. Unsure if the food handling regulations the state has set in place; however, this seems to be a very unsanitary practice that they believe should be looked into.

Complaint findings: Observed no products being left out or temperature abused. The meat that the picture showed that the complainant submitted appeared to be raw chicken and would need to be fully cooked prior to serving meaning the chicken will be safe to consume afterwards. Although, leaving products out unattended is not a safe practice and shall discontinue. Ensure the handwashing sink is not being blocked by carts, and is accessible at all times.

Per discussion with manager, they were aware of the complaint and stated it was raw chicken that was being prepped to get fully cooked. Management stated they will talk with employees about prep time and where prep work is occurring.
