The food facility was without a proper water supply due to a water-main break. The food facility shall not operate without a proper water supply. The food facility was instructed not to operate until a safe water supply becomes available. The food facility was instructed to follow any potential boil advisories that may arise once the water supply is restored. The food facility was given a handout (Alternative Water Supply Information) regarding steps to follow if operating during the potential boil advisory. Additionally, the food facility was instructed to discard all potentially contaminated ice and flush all water lines once water supply is available including sinks, soda lines, ice lines, aerators, and all other water supply fixtures.
