Critical Repeat Observed the facility was not equipped with a three-compartment sink at the time of inspection for the manual washing, rinsing, and sanitizing of utensils.

Critical Repeat Observed no handwashing sink located to allow convenient use by employees in the front service area of the facility at the time of inspection.

Observed in-use utensils (ice cream scoops) were improperly stored at the time of inspection.
During pauses in food preparation or dispensing, food preparation and dispensing utensils shall be stored in running water of sufficient velocity to flush particulates to the drain, if used with moist food such as ice cream
3717-1-05.1(I) / Service sink - number.
Repeat Observed the facility was not equipped with a service sink or curbed cleaning facility at the time of inspection as required.
At least one service sink or one curbed cleaning facility equipped with a floor drain shall be provided and conveniently located for the cleaning of mops or similar wet floor cleaning tools and for the disposal of mop water and similar liquid waste. Correct By: 10-Oct-2014

Overall, the facility appeared clean at the time of inspection. Continue to ensure that all food equipment is washed, rinsed, sanitized, and allowed to air dry appropriately before use.
A facility review is required before installing the required sinks. Plumbing alterations should be made only by a licensed plumber.
All newly purchased equipment shall be commercial grade. Contact the City of Kent Health Department for approval before placing any new equipment into use.
