| The Kent Health Department received a report on 4/21/17 that an employee at Ray's Place has been recently ill (E. coli). The report states that the employee's first symptoms appeared on 4/14/17. He was hospitalized on 4/18/17. The employee was contacted via telephone for additional information by the Kent Health Department. The employee states that he had been in contact with the Portage County Health Department and the Ohio Department of Health for the last 4 days. The Kent Health Department spoke to the PIC (Tom Creech) at Ray's Place on 4/21/17 to remind him of proper reporting requirements for sick employees. The employee has not been to work since 4/13/17. He is not permitted back to work without approval from a doctor. The PIC states that no additional employees or customers have reported illness. |
