Inspection was conducted in response to a smoke that infiltrated the facility from a fire that occurred within an adjacent business. This establishment was closed at the time of inspection, and the person-in-charge (PIC) was cleaning. The PIC stated that food equipment and food preparation surfaces were cleaned after the smoke infiltration had cleared. It was possible that some food and single-service items may have been contaminated by smoke. The PIC discarded food and single-service items that had not been stored in air-tight containers. Establishment is ok to operate. |
