| Complaint on 16-Jan-2024 : Inspection was conducted in regards to a complaint. Per complainant: Call was received regarding mold growth around the warewashing area. Caller would like the Health department to look into the issue as they are concerned about the safety of the staff and residents. Complaint findings: Observed unknown black substance on the caulking/wall at the pre-rinse sink to the wall and small section behind the mechanical warewashing equipment. This violation is noted on the standard inspection report that was conducted on the same day. Per discussion with PIC: There is a pending work order with maintenance to resolve the issue. PIC stated they will continue to try and clean the area but may need to wait until the surface are repair to be smooth and easily cleanable again. Complaint will now be considered closed and will be addressed in the standard inspection report. |
