Fixed equipment not properly sealed or spaced for cleaning. Observed loaded shelves in back room that were not installed with lower shelf up 6 inches above the floor. Shelves are not approved to be used (not commercial) and floors cannot be cleaned. Replace shelves to be easily moved on casters or with shelf 6 inches above the floor.
3717-1-04.2(C) / Drainboards.
Insufficient storage space provided for soiled and clean items. Additional shelving is required to ensure proper air drying space is provided. Provide NSF (or similar testing agency) approved shelving/surface for proper air drying.
3717-1-05.4(O) / Using drain plugs.
No drain plugs in waste receptacle. Provide a water tight outdoor refuse container by installing a drain plug.

| This inspection will be considered the 30 day inspection. It was delayed due to the RFE not being opened during the first attempt to complete the 30 day standard inspection. Notes: 1) Ensure the hand washing sink at the cafe is provided with soap, paper towels and a Hand washing sign. 2) Coffee filters need to stored in a way that protects the single use filter from contamination. All violations and notes will be rechecked at the next standard inspection. |
