Complaint on 19-May-2020 :
A standard inspection was conducted in regards to a complaint filed with the health department.

Per complainant: On Sunday (5/17) around 4:30 PM, customers had to use unclean, unsanitized carts. There was no employee out front cleaning carts and counting people. Also reported the women's restroom is not being maintained clean.

Addressed complaint with management. Per discussion with PIC, they have a daily cleaning list for the bathrooms and are being done but will ensure it is addressed with staff. The carts are disinfected after every use and stored inside the building. Customers are also welcome to the sanitizer wipes at the entrance, to do an additional cleaning if they chose but is not necessary since already disinfected.

Findings: Observed soap scum building up around the bathroom counters/sinks in both restrooms. PIC began cleaning these areas and stated they will be maintained clean. Observed multiple clean carts at the front entrance and building has established a maximum capacity based on social distancing guidelines. The store has a list of guidelines in front of there building that address safe practices for COVID-19.

The complaint is now considered closed.

Discussed COVID-19 protocols (face coverings, social distancing, cleaning and sanitizing, sick policy, etc.) during the inspection with the person-in-charge.

No violations documented at the time of inspection.
