The plumbing system was not properly maintained. A strong sewer-like odor was found originating from the floor drain in the women's restroom at the time of inspection.
To prevent health hazards, repair plumbing system in the women's restroom. A plumbing system shall be properly maintained. Investigate cause of odor. Ensure the trap for the floor drain is functioning properly and ensure the vent stack is not blocked by leaves, bird nest, or other debris. Recommend contacting a licensed plumber to investigate.

Inspection was conducted in regards to a complaint regarding a sewer odor in the women's restroom.

Per discussion with manager, the operation is aware of the odor and stated a plumber is coming to the facility tomorrow to look at the problem. Water is being dumped down the floor drain each night and morning to help eliminate the odor.
The violation shall be corrected as soon as possible.
