[?] Inspection Type: Consultation

Inspection Date: 17-July-2020

Comments
This consultation inspection was completed per the request of the owner. The FSO would like to begin using a future permanent outdoor patio space and expanded additional temporary patio space in the backyard.
Both the Kent Fire and Building inspector were present for the inspection. Both department officials verbally approved the temporary use of the front patio (that is planned to permeant after the pandemic) and the temporary back patio in the yard. Please follow up on their recommendations. The Patio is currently not approved for permeant use and the owner shall follow-up with the Kent building department once the pandemic restrictions/orders are lifted.

Okay to operate the outdoor patio space once the tables and chairs have been properly set-up with the 6 foot social distancing requirement (from back of chair to back of chair). Masks shall be required in both areas when customers are not consuming per Kent City Ordinance 2020 - 62. Recommend posting mask requirement signage and the determined occupancy at the entrance of both patios. All signage required by the Governors orders shall be provided.

The Kent City Health Department has approved the use of the temporary front and backyard patio space for dining service. The sector specific requires shall be followed at all times the space is in use.
